（中央社記者廖漢原華盛頓23日專電）美國總統當選人川普就核子擴張論推文引發軍備競賽疑慮，向媒體聲明指出「就讓軍備競賽開跑吧！美國將會長期超越各國。」川普幕僚則認為，外界對此無須大驚小怪。
川普（Donald Trump）22日在推特（Twitter）推文表示應擴大美國核子能力，再度引起自由派主流媒體撻伐，認為他肆意打破美國40多年來的核子限武方針，違背歷任總統降低核武數量的政策。川普不經意的推文，恐將引起全球軍備競賽。
一如預料，「推文大師」川普又引起新聞風暴。不過他不輕易就範，川普23日向微軟國家廣播公司新聞頻道MSNBC聲明指出，「就讓軍備競賽開跑吧，我們（美國）將會在所有挑戰上超越他們（各國），並長期領先他們。」
川普的作法一如在福斯新聞（Fox News）訪問質疑一中政策的必要性，以及接聽蔡英文總統電話是否為打破美國長期外交規範，引起自由派媒體批評時，立即以更強硬的文字強化立場，並由發言人完整說明推文的意向。
獲川普提名擔任白宮新聞秘書的共和黨全國委員會首席發言人史派瑟（Sean Spicer）在美國國家廣播公司（NBC）節目表示，「這不會造成國際軍備競賽，川普的用意是讓各國瞭解，他不會任由軍備競賽發展坐視不理。」
史派瑟說，「他們（各國）會對此清醒過來，大家都會沒事。」
獲川普任命為白宮諮詢顧問的資深幕僚康威（Kellyanne Conway）在MSNBC指出，這不是什麼驚天動地的推文，歐巴馬總統也說要提高美國核子能力，川普的想法是要維繫美國的安全，並讓全球知道，他在國安上說到做到。」
川普一如過往，在週末前夕拋出震撼美國社會的議題，「每週一推文」讓媒體不愁週末缺乏議題炒作。
不過川普與俄羅斯總統蒲亭（Vladimir Putin）似乎有默契的就核武議題一搭一唱，更讓美國輿論質疑，親俄的外交政策已在執行中。1051224
